Anne’s Retreat is truly unique, taking glamping to a whole new level. Built by the owner, the supremely comfortable and spacious sleeping and living hut is attached via a wooden deck to the very well-appointed ‘bathing hut’.
Anne’s Retreat is set in a totally secluded, stunning location within its own meadow, nestled quietly on the edge of a natural wood. Whether for a romantic getaway or a long weekend of walking through the woods of the surrounding valley, Anne’s Retreat provides the perfect escape. Engage in a plethora of local activities or simply throw a log on the fire pit, lie back in the hammock and enjoy the peace, the quiet and the birdsong.

Bed and Luxury Private Bathing Hut
Anne’s Retreat boasts a supremely comfortable super kingsize bed, dominated by a magnificent headboard from The Headboard Workshop.
Linked by a decking enclosure, furnished for relaxing and al fresco dining, is the bathing and dressing hut. Enjoy the huge double ended bath with views of the wood or savour the separate full sized rain shower, both supplied with limitless hot water, and of course there is a proper flushing loo.
Outside Space
Outside you can enjoy the sheltered decking and dining area or take a few steps down to the fire pit to try your hand at cooking over an open fire. Lie swinging in the hammock, sit on the natural oak seats (created from a fallen tree), or just enjoy doing absolutely nothing in this truly special place.
