Each of our couples’ retreats has a comfortable super king bed as its centrepiece. There’s space to stretch out, relax and really rest – whether you’ve spent the day walking Offa’s Dyke, exploring the Wye Valley, or simply unwinding on the terrace.

Supportive mattresses, quality pillows and cosy duvets are chosen with long, unbroken sleep in mind. You’re tucked away in a rural setting, so nights are wonderfully still and dark – ideal for deep, restorative rest.

Orchard Cottage: Egyptian Cotton and Country Calm

In Orchard Cottage, sleep feels like a quiet ritual. The super kingsize bed is finished with a beautifully upholstered headboard from The Headboard Workshop and dressed in fine Egyptian cotton sheets. The feel is smooth, cool and indulgent – the kind of bed you look forward to getting back into the moment you get out of it.

The cottage’s peaceful setting adds to the sense of escape. With views across to the Black Mountains and your own private orchard and stream outside, it’s easy to wind down, read a book on the sofa by the wood-burner, then drift off in crisp, luxurious bedding.

Anne’s Retreat: Cosy Luxury in a Secluded Meadow

Anne’s Retreat takes glamping to a different level. Inside the shepherd’s hut, the super king bed makes the space feel instantly generous and cocooning. After an evening in the private bathing hut – with its huge double-ended bath and full-sized rain shower – you can step straight into bed feeling warm, relaxed and ready for sleep.

Because the hut sits in its own meadow on the edge of a natural wood, there’s very little to disturb you. Just birdsong, rustling leaves and big, starry skies. It’s a rare kind of seclusion that makes early nights and slow mornings feel like the most natural thing in the world.
