Tucked away in the countryside, our cottage and shepherd’s hut are places to truly switch off – with super king beds, crackling wood-burners and nothing but birdsong for company.

Both of our properties are created as private, grown-up hideaways. Whether you choose the cottage or the shepherd’s hut, you’ll find:

Anne’s Retreat – A “Next Level” Shepherd’s Hut
Anne’s Retreat takes the idea of a shepherd’s hut and elevates it into something much more indulgent. Set in its own meadow on the edge of a natural wood, it’s a true luxury bolthole for couples who want seclusion without compromising on comfort.
The main hut includes a super king bed and well-equipped space for cooking and dining, while the separate private bathing hut – linked by decking – is where it really stands out. Here you’ll find a huge double-ended bath and full-sized rain shower, creating a spa-like experience in the middle of the countryside.
Orchard Cottage – A Cosy Country Hideaway
Orchard Cottage is a light, comfortable bolthole with views across to the Black Mountains. Inside, the sitting room centres around a wood-burner and comfy sofas, while the bedroom features a super kingsize bed with fine Egyptian cotton sheets.
The bathroom offers both bath and shower with luxury toiletries, and outside you’ll have your own private terrace, sun loungers and a bench by the stream at the edge of the orchard – perfect for lazy afternoons or a glass of wine at sunset. Orchard Cottage is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged companion doesn’t have to stay at home.

Time to Switch Off
Our luxury boltholes are all about unhurried days and quiet evenings. Wake up to birdsong, wander straight out onto footpaths, linger over breakfast, then curl up by the fire as night falls. With the Wye Valley, Offa’s Dyke and Tintern Abbey nearby, you can do as much or as little as you like.
